Pepper Soup is an easy and hearty comfort food very popular in West Africa. It a hot and spicy chicken broth recipe made with a blend of aromatic African spices.
Ingredients: Calabash nutmeg, Selim peppers, Alligator pepper, Bouillon, Peppercorn, Allspice, Ginger, Cayenne pepper, fennel seeds, cumin, Salt
Use: Goat, Lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, or veal.
Chicken Pepper soup Recipe
1 Chicken, cut and clean
1 Large Onion, finely chopped
4 Tbsp Pepper soup Seasoning
Salt to taste
2 habanero peppers
2-3 Scent leaves (nchianwu) (finely chopped)
Place the washed and cut up chicken in a pot.
Add about 6cups of water, the chopped onions, salt and Tbsp Pepper soup Seasoning and bring to a boil.
When the contents in the pot begins to boil, add Cameroon pepper
Cook chicken till tender then lower heat.
Add the chopped scent leaves. Allow to simmer for about a minute, then turn off the heat
Your Chicken Pepper Soup is ready. Enjoy!!!
How to store Our seasonings:
Store the seasoning blend at room temperature for up to 2 years.
