Choukouya, marinated cubed meat grilled with onions and tomatoes, is the quintessential street food of the Ivory Coast. Grilled on large metal sheets over a wood fire, choukouya can be made of lamb, beef or even chicken. I’m sure it’s delicious.
Ingredients: Garlic, Ginger, Parsley, Paprika, Black pepper, Bouillon, salt, lemon
Use: Lamb, Goat, Beef
Lamb Choukouya Recipe
2 lbs lamb cut in pieces
1 onion chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Choukouya Seasoning
Preheat the oven at 350.
Chop onion and tomato.
Mix the Lamb, Choukouya Seasoning, salt to taste, the onion and tomato put them in foil and close.
Grill at about 450 for 30 mins.
Once it’s done, remove from the fire and let it cool and enjoy.
How to store Our seasonings:
Store the seasoning blend at room temperature for up to 2 years.
